    Mr.Mo2cros,
I know what your saying,I was practicing in a bar 1 day,and 2 jerks came up and said you cant play on these tables no more, its pool league night,so I finished the rack off and put my cue up,and these 2 douche bags rack the balls up on all the tables, and start playing bank 8 ball on the table I was practicing alone on,the other 4 tables were sitting there with 8 ball racked up on them, and NO one there yet, they just wanted to run me off,so they could play Pool league,Fucking jerks.

@poolplayer2093: Each of the leagues have different strengths and weaknesses. The best points about the apa are that it encourages good players to recruit and play with weaker players and that it allows coaching – good for people that are learning, and also good for the person that is coaching because it clarifies in his own mind the reasons for why he does what he does. APA is also the only league where you CAN'T buy into the nationals – everyone there earned their way. It's fun

@poolplayer2093 What you really need focus on in any pool league is what you are there for. APA leagues are Amateur leagues. That means that you are there to have some fun, and play some pool. Some people take the game very seriously, and can have an effect of ruining the game for other players, either by being super competitive, or by "cheating" the system. Personally, I don't care about those players. I'm there to have some fun, and play some pool, and APA always delivers those things for me.

The camera man should show each ball rolling ALL the way to the pocket so people would understand better what they should see — very little wobble on the striped ball. The advice is great.

I play a lot of pool, especially in CPA / APA pool league. I know hundreds of people who could benefit from this simple lesson in mechanics. For a lot of people, the mechanics are the limiting factor of this game, and are what keep people rated a 3 or lower. All the theory, spins, strategy in the world will not help if you have a lousy foundation and can't execute them properly.

This is a great exercise, and I know I will have members of my team do it. It can only help. Thanks Dr. Cue!
